Welcome to Dealsby Reservations

This guide covers everything you need to know to set up, configure, and manage your Dealsby Reservations account. Whether you're a restaurant, salon, fitness studio, or any other reservation-based business, this guide will help you get the most out of the platform.

01 Account Setup & Onboarding

Getting started with Dealsby Reservations takes just a few minutes. Create your venue profile with your business name, address, cuisine type (for restaurants), and operating hours. This information appears on your public booking widget.

After signup, you'll have a 14-day free trial with full access to all features on your chosen plan. A valid payment method is required at signup, but you won't be charged until the trial ends.

02 Floor Plan & Table Management

Navigate to Settings → Floor Plan to access the visual editor. You can create multiple floor plan sections (e.g., Main Floor, Patio, Private Dining) and switch between them with tabs.

Add round tables for parties of 2–6 or rectangle tables for larger groups and banquette seating. Set capacity for each table and organize them into logical sections. Tables can be combined for larger parties.

03 Reservation Management

The reservation dashboard gives you a real-time view of all bookings. Filter by date, time, section, or status. Each reservation shows guest name, party size, confirmation code (DSBY format), and any special notes.

Configure availability windows to define when you accept reservations, set turn times for each seating, and block out dates for private events or holidays.

04 Walk-Ins & Waitlist

Handle walk-in guests with the digital waitlist. Add a guest with their name, party size, and phone number. Set estimated wait times, and the system will notify guests via SMS when their table is ready.

05 SMS & Email Notifications

Automated confirmations, reminders, and waitlist notifications keep your guests informed and reduce no-shows. Customize message templates, reminder timing, and notification preferences from Settings → Notifications.

06 Guest Profiles & CRM

Build rich guest profiles with visit history, preferences, dietary restrictions, VIP tags, and spending data. Guest data is automatically enriched with each visit, giving your team personalized service context.

07 Staff Roles & Permissions

Dealsby Reservations supports role-based access control (RBAC) with five roles: Owner, Admin, Manager, Staff, and Viewer. Each role has granular permissions controlling what team members can view, create, edit, and delete.

08 Analytics & Reporting

Track key metrics including reservation volume, no-show rates, average party size, peak hours, table utilization, and guest return rates. Export reports in CSV format for further analysis.

09 Billing & Subscription

Manage your subscription from Settings → Subscription. View your current plan, usage stats, invoices, and payment method. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.

10 Integrations & Booking Widget

Embed the Dealsby Reservations booking widget on your website to accept online reservations 24/7. Share your direct booking URL on social media, Google Business Profile, and email signatures.

The booking widget is fully responsive, branded to your venue, and requires no coding to install — just copy and paste the embed snippet from Settings → Booking Widget.
