SMS Support Overview

Dealsby Reservations uses SMS messaging powered by Twilio to help you communicate with your guests. From booking confirmations to reminders and waitlist notifications, SMS keeps your guests informed and reduces no-shows.

How SMS Works

Automated Messages

When a guest makes a reservation, they automatically receive a confirmation SMS with their booking details and a unique DSBY confirmation code. Reminder messages are sent at your configured intervals (e.g., 24 hours and 2 hours before the reservation).

Opt-Out Compliance

All SMS communications include opt-out instructions. Guests can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Dealsby automatically honors all opt-out requests in compliance with TCPA regulations.

Two-Way Messaging

Guests can reply to SMS messages to confirm, cancel, or modify their reservations. Responses are logged in your dashboard for easy tracking.

SMS Usage & Pricing

Need more? Add-on packs are available: Small ($20/mo for 500 credits), Medium ($45/mo for 1,500 credits), or Large ($95/mo for 4,000 credits). Pay-As-You-Go is also available at standard overage rates.

Troubleshooting

Messages not delivering?

Check that the guest's phone number is valid and includes the correct country code. Verify your SMS credits haven't been exhausted.

SMS

Guest says they didn't receive SMS

Some carriers may delay or filter messages. Ask the guest to check their spam/blocked messages and ensure they haven't opted out.
